'Blackpool or: 'Sally is my only friend''
This collection is appealing as it presents a large number of expressive garments borrowing from literary or film characters. Highly individual fabric combinations are explicitly reminiscent of costumes in their overdrawn lavishness, and special accessories create a sense of theatre and variety shows. Here fashion becomes a game with eccentricity, plumbing the boundaries between various life realities. The implicit possibility of role-play is obvious, and highly enticing.
