Georges Grbic

(b. 1964 in Belgrade) came to Switzerland in 1968. He lives in Lausanne and has been director of the Théâtre Benno Besson in Yverdon since 2017. He trained at the Ecole supérieure d’art dramatique in Lausanne and has acted under directors from Switzerland, France and Belgium including Hervé Loichemol, Philippe Sireuil and Jean-Louis Hourdin. Since 2011 he has also worked as a director with his company Champs d’action and, since 2016, has taught dramaturgy at the Haute école des arts de la scène (La Manufacture). He was a co-founder of the company L’Organon and chaired the Syndicat suisse romand du spectacle from 2005 to 2007.
