Demis Quadri

(b. 1978) is Professor of Research and Teaching in Physical Theater at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri (SUPSI) with responsibility for research, and teaches the theory and history of theatre. From 2005 to 2009 he worked at the Institute of Theatre Studies of the University of Bern on a Swiss National Science Foundation-funded research project on commedia dell’arte, and obtained doctorates from the universities of Bern and Fribourg in 2011. He has been a visiting professor in Geneva and Venice and a researcher at the Istituto Svizzero di Roma, and is currently a board member of the Swiss Association for Theatre Studies.
