Jean Kaempfer

(1950) Jean Kaempfer was born in 1950 in La Chaux-de-Fonds.He works as a professor and literary critic. After being a visiting lecturer at several Swiss universities, he was appointed full professor of French literature at the University of Lausanne in 1997. Currently, he is an honorary professor of French literature at the University of Lausanne.
