Barbara Villiger Heilig

(1959) Barbara Villiger Heilig studied Romance languages in Zurich and Italy. She has taught in various schools and at the University of Zurich. With a doctorate in Italian literature, she has worked for Arche in Zurich and Mondadori in Milan. Since 1991, she has been editor of the cultural section (Feuilleton) of the Neue Zeitung. She was also a member of the literary critics' team for the German public television program Literaturclub SRF.
