Lionel Baier
Lionel Baier was born in 1975 in Lausanne into a Swiss family originating from Poland. Since 1992, he has been Programmer and Co-Manager of the Rex cinema in Aubonne. He studied the Arts at the University of Lausanne from 1995 and 1999 and since 2002 he has been Head of the Film department at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne). In November 2009, he founded Bande à part Films with film makers Ursula Meier, Frédéric Mermoud and Jean- Stéphane Bron and he is also Vice President of the Swiss Film Archive.

Julien Bouissoux
Born in 1975 in Clermont-Ferrand (F). Joint Swiss and French citizenship. Studies Economics and Political Science in Paris, working since then as an author and screenplay writer. He has published several novels in France. In collaboration with Lionel Baier, “Les Grandes Ondes (à l'ouest)” is his first screenplay made into a film.
