The jury was intrigued by Urs Hofer's playful and intricate display of an interactive cross-section through his multi-faceted practice. Combining technological savvy and a penchant for experimentation, he collaborates across many disciplines and activities. The resulting works are all expressions of his appreciation for technology as an open structure that exists as part of the cultural discourse, not outside of it.
