Ceremony of the Swiss Performing Arts Awards 2023

In the presence of President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset, the Federal Office of Culture awarded the Swiss Performing Arts Awards for the third time on 6 October 2023 at LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura. The Swiss Grand Award for the Performing Arts / Hans Reinhart Ring 2023 went to the choreographer Cindy Van Acker. Other prizes received Rébecca Balestra, Bruno Cathomas, Ntando Cele, Tiziana Conte, Barbara Giongo & Nataly Sugnaux Hernandez, Sandro Lunin, Circus Monti, Jeremy Nedd, Tellspiele Altdorf, «Blast!» by Ruth Childs, «EWS – Der einzige Politthriller der Schweiz» by Theater Neumarkt and Marc Oosterhoff / Cie Moost.

Award of the Swiss Performing Arts Prizes 2022

In the presence of Federal Councillor Alain Berset, the Federal Office of Culture awarded the Swiss Performing Arts Awards for the second time on 21 October 2022 at the newly built Théâtre de Carouge. The Swiss Grand Award for the Performing Arts / Hans Reinhart Ring 2022 went to director and artistic director Barbara Frey. Other prizes received Frida León Beraud, Marco Berrettini, Sophie Gardaz, Geschwister Pfister, Paola Gianoli, Yann Marussich, Mike Müller, Susanne Schneider/BewegGrund, Ticino is Burning, "La Peau de l'Espace" by Yasmine Hugonnet, "Manuel d'exil" by Maya Bösch and the collective InQdrt.

Award ceremony of the Swiss Performing Arts Awards 2021

In the presence of Federal Councillor Alain Berset, the Federal Office of Culture awarded the Swiss Performing Arts Awards for the first time on 28 October 2021 at the new Théâtre du Jura in Delémont. The Swiss Grand Award for the Performing Arts / Hans Reinhart Ring 2021 went to Martin Zimmermann. For more than 20 years, he has been creating his own genre with his work, opening up the perspective of the performing arts.
