Sara De Brito Faustino’s A Home With No Roof transforms memories of a painful childhood into a series of staged photographs. Using a 1:15 scale model of her apartment, she constructs a narrative marked by tension between seduction and unease. Through miniature objects and sculptural interventions, the work explores intimacy, trauma and identity in formation. The jury highlights an approach in which the artist positions herself as both subject and object, asserting a striking presence in contemporary photography.
