Their critical, curatorial and editorial collaboration started in 2014. Their thematic exhibitions in the art spaces WallRiss (Fribourg) and Forde (Geneva) were striking for their dense theoretical background and the subtlety of their hangings. Legendary publishers, event organisers and legal advisors for artists, this curator duo’s reflections often centre around temporal collisions between technological progress and the eternal capitalist loop. Poised between the extremes of globalised hypernetworking and the excessive cocooning of artists, Menétrey and Brulhart are characterised by the quality of their work as curators of exhibitions.
