The Swiss Grand Award for Art / Prix Meret Oppenheim 2026 goes to Fabrice Gygi, Hilar Stadler and Tilla Theus

On the recommendation of the Federal Art Commission, the Federal Office of Culture is awarding this year's Swiss Art Grand Prize / Meret Oppenheim Prize to Fabrice Gygi, Hilar Stadler, and Tilla Theus. The award ceremony will take place on June 15, 2026, in Basel in the presence of Federal Councilor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider and will be followed by the opening of the Swiss Art Awards exhibition.
