Judith Zaugg is presenting a unique and unusual children's book for the second time. The computer-generated illustrations are unconventional for this genre, and their clarity and colouring combine ideally with the direct language of Grazia Pergoletti's 'Susa Flott und ihre haarsträubende Geschichte' (Susa Flott and her hair-raising story). Here the jury praises the formal stylistic security and the convincing mixture of elements from the worlds of picture-books and comics.
