Lives and works in Amsterdam. Studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins, London, and Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. Member of the Swiss type foundry Lineto. Teaches at Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam.

Tan Wälchli, 1974, Zurich
Studied literature and history and wrote a PhD thesis on 'Freud and the Poets'. He has worked at the English Department, University of Zurich, and at the Zurich University of the Arts
(ZHdK). He is currently a fellow at the Department of Germanic Studies, University of Chicago.
