Video messages for the award winners

Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the presentation of the Swiss Theatre Awards scheduled for 15 May 2020 at the Theater Chur did not take place. An alternative, smaller-scale ceremony planned for November at the Dampfzentrale in Bern also had to be cancelled. Instead, the seven members of the Federal Theatre Jury each recorded a video message for their award winner, and the winners responded with video messages of their own. The presentation of the Hans Reinhart Ring in collaboration with the Swiss Association for Theatre Studies, along with a laudation from Isabelle Chassot for Jossi Wieler, also took place without an audience.
