Carine Zuber

After studying political science in Lausanne, Carine Zuber began her career in the 1990s as a freelance concert organiser working in Lausanne and Paris. During Expo.02 she was project manager of the Cargo and Mondial music clubs. She has been programme director of the Cully Jazz Festival since 1999. Four years ago Carine Zuber was also one of the co-founders of the Cosmo Jazz Festival at Chamonix in France. From 2010 to 2013, she headed the German and French language Cultural Committees of the Canton of Bern; prior to that, she was administrative director of the Theater Biel-Solothurn. From 2005 to 2011 she was also a member of the Board of Trustees of Pro Helvetia and chair of the Board group on music.
