Zé is a 50-year-old alcoholic who works in the port of Lisbon where he loads and unloads containers. He has never left his neighbourhood and stashes away his savings so that one day he'll be able to board one of the huge cruise ships he sees every day. When his possessive wife steals his money, Zé is prepared to go to great lengths to fulfil his dream.
