Every year, the Swiss Film Academy invites all nominees to a luncheon in Berne, where they receive their nomination certificates, celebrate their accomplishments and rub shoulders with fellow nominees.
The nominees luncheon took place for the first time in 2011 and has been a resounding success. Like a family celebration for Swiss film makers, it is held away from the red carpet and media hype and is all about recognising creativity and achievement and mingling with colleagues. The nominees luncheon is supported by SRG SSR.
The 2024 nominees luncheon will take place on 29 February at the Cinématte in Bern.
