Poetic and schematic traces of moving bodies define the work of graphic designer Adeline Mollard and interaction designer Adrien Kaeser. In their desire to find more versatile ways to sensorially trace and visually portray contemporary dance and performance, they created a distinct visual language, ranging from stroboscopic cropping and ghostly overlays to gestural traces and auratic shapes. The jury recognizes not only the duo’s successful results in posters, printed and digital programme communication, but also the technical and graphical engagement in the larger question of translating spatial and temporal movement.
