The work of Mahalia Taje Giotto is an exploration of the body as it undergoes far-reaching physical changes. Observing their non-binary identity in transition, the artist creates an oeuvre that is striking, sometimes unsettling and always honest. A blend of personal diary, performance and visual experimentation ranging from film to digital and snapshot to collage, it is remarkable in its singularity.
