Jury report

In the mediation category, the jury distinguished the work of Futuress, a feminist platform for design politics founded in 2020. The jury lauded the platform's effort to amplify new voices in design, bringing to the fore forgotten, ignored and erased histories and themes. Futuress contributes to expanding design discourse at a national and international level, at a critical moment in the history of the discipline. Similarly, the jury was impressed by the broad reach of Futuress through workshops, lectures and fellowships, creating a community for transnational solidarity that continues to grow and thrive.
