'JOY – Freude'
This col­lec­tion is pre­sented in a state of ob­vi­ous 'un­readi­ness', with loose seams and cut­off hems. The out­fits are noth­ing but de­vel­op­ment stages that have been cap­tured as they stand, and are in­tended to re­main change­able. Al­though this 'un­fin­ished look' is not new as such, the jury is con­vinced by the tex­tile sketch­i­ness char­ac­ter­iz­ing these pieces. The fan­tasy of set­ting no firm bound­aries and al­low­ing the wear­ers to work as de­sign­ers in their own right shows how re­laxed the woman who cre­ated these pieces is.
