Gabi Bernetta

was born in Chur in 1962 and has lived and worked in Zurich since 1985. She founded Bernetta Theaterproduktionen in 1995 and works as a production director and tour manager for independent troupes and directors. She completed a postgraduate Executive Master of Advanced Studies degree in culture management from 2002 to 2004. In 2016, she founded the national jungspund Theatre Festival for Young Audience St. Gallen, of which she remains director. Her early theatre career took in the Theater Kanton Zürich in Winterthur and forum:claque Das Kunstlabor in Baden, and she was also general manager and PR officer of the Theater Chur. She won a Swiss Theatre Award in 2018.
