Matthias Lorenz

(1973) Matthias Lorenz studied cultural sciences in Leipzig and Lüneburg, where he received his doctorate in literary anti-Semitism. He habilitated at the University of Bern, where he represents contemporary literature, with a thesis on intertextuality. He is currently leading two SNF projects on aspects of German-language literature and is an Extraordinary Professor at Stellenbosch University (SA).
